Artist Working in Glass

Angela is an artist working with glass. Her work explores form, mass and space, light and colour. Using combinations of physical and digital processes Angela creates 3D forms which are translated into glass using model, mould making and casting techniques.

Although what she makes often appears abstract at first, ideas and forms are rooted in the everyday real world.

'Ideas are living entities; they start from something which already exists and grow, sometimes resulting in surprising forms and structures. My aim is not to emulate nature but to echo some of its strangeness and wonder.'

Angela is available for teaching, research and writing, exhibiting and collaboration and always happy to hear about opportunities and projects.
